THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER!!

I was longing to read the novel "The perks of being a wall flower " by Stephen Chbosky. 
But as i couldn't buy the book i downloaded the movie instead..the movie is directed by the author itself..the characters charlie was starred by Logan Lerman and Sam by my favorite emma watson :). The tagline of the movie is "WE ARE INFINITE" ..wow that is something..i love many quotes from the movie like this one conversation between charlie and sam ..

Sam:" Why do I and everyone I love pick people who treat us like we're nothing? "
Charlie: "We accept the love we think we deserve."

I could relate myself with charlie as well a sam..the problems i had faced..may be that is one of the reason why i had loved the movie..The movie begins with charlie who is an introvert freshman finds himself alone and struggling to find a group that will accept him..(i had also faced the same situation..!!)..he was also suffering from the mental shock he got from losing his best friend..who had suicided..and he had a past trauma of losing his aunt helen. Finally he gets in to a misfit seniors group of sam and her step brother patrick ,mary elizabeth etc who helps him to face the real world..they introduces him to parties,drugs and what not..charlie have a big crush on sam from the day of their tunnel song incident.. charlie wants to be a writer someday..and he is a voracious reader..And charlie helps sam to crack her S.A.T exams and finally christmas comes and charlie get his first kiss from sam..


at one point mary elizabeth proposes him and charlie is trapped between him love for sam and not hurting mary elizabeths feelings..sam starts dating another guy and all charlie could do was watch in between their double dates..finally..he breaks up with mary elizabeth during truth or dare..and everything goes downhill..he hurts everyones feelings..they stop meeting and charlie is again alone..Patrick and his gay boyfriend get in to fight and charlie stops them and everything is almost back to normal..and soon everybody is going to leave for college..charlie is again left alone..and after sending sam and patrick off to college..charlie blacks out and his old nightmares returns..he blames himself for the death of his aunt helene he finally gets admitted in to hospital and doctor tries to find what has been troubling him..and the answer was aunt helene..what aunt helene done and all have not been explained..but viewer can assume that aunt helene had been sexually exploiting charlie..after charlie is discharged sam and patrick comes to meet him and this time sam finally finds their tunnel song but this time charlie climbs on the back of truck, he kisses sam and feels INFINITE..<3

The first post!!

I have been thinking of creating a new blog for ages but i still don't have any idea what my blog should be about. I named the blog "The Great Indian Rat Racer" because of my constant reminder of me being part of the unending rat race. For the time being i'm going to post my stuffs..like the drawings i make, my thoughts,opinions, movies,books,fashion and all...i'm not a voracious reader or movie maniac..but those are the two things which keeps me relaxed and gives me company( i'm a single child and thus always finds really tough to make close friendships) another thing which cut loose my stress is sketching..still practicing on my own to improve myself..i find happiness in these little things..and i love photography..i'm not much  of a photographer but i love to watch the works of others and i try to capture pictures which i find interesting .i love to travel but it's been a long time since i made long trips..And this is an outline about my interests :) So dear friends welcome to my blog ..i am not promising to post each and every day..but i will try my best to make new posts in my blog.
